Our busy weekend!

The back pack

Emmys shoes

A COOL BACKPACK
I always buy Gabby her back to school back pack from pottery barn kids. Well, this time the one she wanted was all sold out so she said “until I see the one I like Mommy I will keep the one from last year” which still looked new thank God. I responded “DEAL, when you see that one special bag Mommy will get it.” Well school started and she saw the backpack (the one) that she wanted; it was in the “limited too” Gabby said “all the girls have these backpacks from the limited they are so cute” I told her that we would go to the mall during the weekend and look for them. When Saturday rolled on, so fast, we went to the store and she was in luck; they had one of the two backpacks that she had chosen. The catch: They did not have the lunch box at that store and they had one but it was in another close by mall so we put it on hold and went there. We found it and now she has the complete set and she so happy. A NEW PAIR OF SHOES
Emma needed shoes and Mommy likes these shoes called “Morgan and Milo.” They are so cute and pretty and I have bought at least 4 pairs from this collection; you can order them on-line or go to Nordstrom’s and stride rite stores. Oh! Here is the web site “www.morganandmilo.com” they are so cute. Well, the ones that we liked are brown and pink with a bow. Ok! This is the catch, when we headed to this particular store we saw the shoe that we liked and there was an awesome sale. My husband and I liked this style on Emma so much so we went to the lady and asked for the appropriate size and she says “one moment” well, she comes out and says “I only have one shoe, not sure what happened,” So we said ok! And ask her “can you order it from another store” she responded “I will call for you” Nice, Nice lady, after calling three stores she found a pair, they were in Orlando, she was having them shipped to her store, however, if we did not get them before Friday we could not get the sale. The one set that she had I could not take because I wanted that great deal, so, she put it on hold. So as disappointed as we were, we left the store and I was sad but ok. We continued to shop because my husband needed shirts for work. After shopping at a couple of stores we headed toward the exit. We were walking back past the children’s shoe store and my husband said to me “I have a question, can I pay for the shoes now and at least take this one and come back” I said “I am not sure” now, the kids were getting tired and hungry, I said “let me get them something to munch on and I will meet you back there” so, as I headed back the assistant manger said “I have been calling your house, I found the shoes, some one missed box them and I found the pair” The manager kept on saying “I was on my work break and I was going to have you paged” I was so happy and shocked because you do not get this type of “GOOD CARING SERVICE now days, it is rare. She went out of her way and told my husband “I want Emma to have the shoes. I know your wife shops here all the time and I wanted you to have the sale.” We were so blessed that this manger went out of her way to make our daughter extra happy. I can reassure you that I’ll go back to that same store, I am sure of that. Ps. Emma loves her shoes a BUNCH.. After we left, we ate dinner and after that we had to stop at the craft store to pick up Gabby’s supplies for her report and after that we went to the market. Let us say that we were tired. We got home late; nevertheless, we started to work on gabby project and went to sleep in the wee hours of the night. Needless to say we did not make it to church :( (Now that’s sad since we LOVE going to church) Sunday came along; we worked on Gabby’s report for school and had some other errands to finish. To end the night we went to grandma and grandpas for their anniversary dinner and came home prepared lunch and called it a day!!!
