WHAT WILL I WEAR?

**** UPDATE**** GABBY DID AWESOME HAD A BLAST LOVE'S HER TEACHER SHE GOT UP AT 7:15 AND WE WALKED CAUSE THE PARKING LOT WAS TO CROWED, EMMA MISSED GABBY LIKE CRAZY , SHE WAS THRILLED MADE FRIENDS AND SAID SHE HAD A BLAST.


second day update **** mom Iam ok I do not need you to walk me up stairs this is wear we say goodbye.


Tomorrow is the first day of school. Yes, third grade. Wow! I’m more shocked then every one else.

We had the “meet and greet” and gabby was thrilled to see all her old friends in the school yard.

We met the new teacher, Mrs. S and gabby was thrilled. She was excited to start on Monday BUT there was news about a storm coming our way and guess what? School was canceled for 2 days.

Gabby was devastated.

Gabby said –oh no! Why?

Mommy says – because of the storm, we have to be safe.

Gabby said – well, WHEN IS THE STORM GOING TO BE OVER?

Gabby said – well, ok! another night that we can stay awake late cause the rule in our home is “when their is no school, we can stay up late and watch movies or TV shows and fall asleep with the TV on :)
Do you want to know something?

I am worried about gabby going to third grade and not seeing her face at home now that she is in school.

Sob!:(

So now it’s the night before first day; mind you that our clothes have been ready since last Friday and we know what we will wear. (Being that it is a uniform school and you only have so many styles to wear)

Mommy said- so gabby, what will you wear tomorrow? your uniform has been ready let's see it on you

Gabby said – oh! I will show you.

Mommy – ten minuets later Gabby is no wear to be found. She was trying on every uniform and throwing them every wear in her room, I mean she planned what she was going to wear but now that one was NOT THE ONE!

Gabby said – I look like a nerd and I do not like any of the socks or shoes.

Mommy – great, so I am going to have a child in her pj's that is going to third grade.

I can see it now, (lol) at this point anything wouldn’t surprise me.

Blink, 30 minuets later

Gabby – comes down in the same uniform that I requested her to wear, however, know she thinks that this is the one, this is the one she said that I will wear and look good in with a huge smile, she picked the socks shoes and uniform out.

Thank God that that was over, I thought.

Mommy I need my hair like in “pony tales but low ones”

I could not understand how she wanted to look?

I said like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz?

She said no! Like Miley (Miley Cyrus goes by Miley in our house.)
Mommy – ok, then the phone rang and thank God. I told Gabby “I’ll be back change out of the uniform and ill talk about this Miley hair style in a second”

On the phone was my sister from Georgia and she and I were talking about gabby and her many uniform changes like a model and then we spoke about her hair style.

She said “oh yes, every one wants to look like that” and told me how to do it.

I called gabby and now we where ready to do the hairstyle.

I needed to see it before tomorrow so I did it and it looked cute. I was surprised.

Well she is all ready set to go.

I can’t believe that I have a third grader. I am not ready for a third grader, I am sure.

I am sure I am not alone in this right?

I pray that she has an awesome day and that she is happy after school, as happy as she was for her first day of school.
