Shining Bright Moon

SHINING BRIGHT MOON


Last evening the Moon was shining bright as a streetlight. Did any one else see it? It even caught Emmys attention when we were closing the blinds to say night nites. I said to myself ”wow, that is bright" well as I tucked Emmy in she looked at the Moon and said “That Jesus”?

Ok, so like I said earlier, we are teaching Emmy were Jesus is and that he is above.


As the blanket tucked in her special spot she snuggled and we said nite nite to every one
(I mean every one, your name might have been there but I did not recognize it lol) sorry):

EMMY looked at the Moon again (I ‘m telling you it caught my eye because it was so bright)
Emmy say’s "nite Jesus," and looked at me again she said “Mommy that Jesus?

Remember she is only 2. I was shocked and afraid to look for some reason thinking maybe she had special powers. Again she pointed to the Moon, Ok I need to reply that the Moon is not Jesus, it is a light.


How do you explain this to a two year old? I said” Emma Jesus is above in heaven and I pointed towards the sky away from the Bright moon; I repeated it again and said M o o n. pointing to the moon, heaven and pointed to the sky. All Emma did was smile "ok" so maybe now we can go to bed. Not even a second later. She starts waving. Bye Jesus, Well I realized that she does not understand and I just needed to smile so I can go to sleep and after a while she did.

Thank God this conversation ended. She went to sleep right away.

Wow that was a tricky one……………..
