THE ELF ON THE SHELF!

OK EVERY ONE SEEMS TO HAVE GIVING THIS ELF SOME HYPE. ALL DAY TODAY I HAVE SEEN OR HEARD ABOUT FAMILY TRADITIONS WITH THIS ELF. I FEEL LEFT OUT I DO NOT KNOW THIS ELF AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN HIM .

DOES ANYONE KNOW WEAR I CAN FIND THIS ELF SO THAT I WILL NOT FEEL LEFT OUT AND I CAN INTRODUCE HIM TO MY FAMILY? I THINK MY GIRLS WILL LIKE HIM!! IF ANY ONE KNOWS WEAR I CAN FIND HIM THE DOLL AND THE BOOK PLEASE LEAVE ME A COMMENT SO THAT THIS WEEK END I CAN SAY I HAVE A ELF ON MY SHELF. THIS IS REAL BIG HUH? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME OUT!!!!

*** update I was reading angies blog tonight you can see it here and she was explaining this hype about the elf on the shelf, she gave a description here it is, how ever I looked on AMAZON and did not find it. So again if any one knows a local place like barnes n knoble, target , walmart some wear around I need to buy this doll, it might keep the CHILDREN scane till christmas or my self for that matter you know! lol ok here is what she said I think He is mischievous looking, isn't he?

Does anyone know about "The Elf on the Shelf?" Well, if you don't, let me tell you about it. There is a little book that comes with a toy elf (you can buy it on amazon or lots of other stores), and we love it. Every year, after Thanksgiving, the elf shows up somewhere in our house and the girls start screaming and freaking out because he's back. Every morning when they wake up, he has moved to a different part of the house and they have to find him. Basically, the story is that the elf (we named ours Scout) works for Santa, and is here to keep an eye on the kids. He "reports" back to Santa on what he sees, so it is best for kids to be on their best behavior when Scout shows up:) like that ! emma can use that i think!
