It's a New Day

History was made yesterday! Now we have a new President .

Gabby was very upset yesterday when she got into the car from school.

This was the conversation that took place.

OK here we go:

Mommy driving the car- Gabby getting in with a look and a sigh arms wrapped around her waist.

Mommy- whats up Rella ?

Gabby - Well Obama is sigh.......

Mommy - What is your problem with Obama?

Gabby - WHY -WHY WHY-?

Mommy - Why what ?

Gabby - Why did he have to talk and talk and talk so long almost 30 min .

Mommy - Had to hold my self from laughing, what is wrong he became President and was giving his speech.

Gabby - couldn't he do the speech when General Hospital ( MY SOAP ORPHA ) Is on or even at 2 pm not at recess time sigh longer with a low voice saying Obama , Obama

Mommy - Now I'm dying in my seat wanting so bad to laugh , well sorry he took away recess it was a piece of history he is the 44Th President...

Gabby -Mom that's great an all, Mr . President just took away recess and I was the captain of the kick ball team and he just talked way too long . another sigh now recess is being mumbled in a low voice with the head shacking.

Gabby - we had to eat lunch and stay in the class room to watch Obama become the President. and that lady with the huge hat - yea what was she thinking? I was shocked that the Birds didn't land on her head thinking Nest...........

Oh only my daughter folks......

so folks that is what happened yesterday in my house. we watched Obama become the 44Th President. I cried at the first ball dance that beyonce sang at. I did not care for the First lady's Dresses , I thought she looked like she was attending the prom in the white gown and that she kept tripping over it. The other one , well I was cold just watching her wear it.All and all no matter who we chose it was History and a feeling of Dr . King was there . Let's hope for the best and forget the rest God Bless him in his new job.
