Are you all in or are you half in ?

This is week in a series entitled “Recession Proof”. In the book of Proverbs, God says to “lean not on your own understanding”. Instead, God wants you to trust Him for ALL things. In fact, He wants you to live an “all-in” life. Listen as Dr. Bob Barnes talks about what trusting God by living an “all-in” life looks like.

Do you give your all …..to Jesus or maybe a quarter or less to Jesus?

Do you give your all in your marriage and raising your kids or half so ?

live an All in life. Give your best and all 24 -7 to yourself and to God .

Tonight we went to service Expecting a knock down message .

I was with family and friends and well I also had a makeover all in the same day. So I was all excited plus one of my friends that came tonight, Gave Herself to Christ. Does it get better then that .

Just so you know I went Saturday night and Today is Sunday . .

Off the subject a second. Why is it when you get something as simple as your hair done that you feel whole like a pretty women? Why is it that I smile more often?

Maybe cause someone else blow-dried it out for me and I did not have to do it . Or maybe cause the way they cut my hair it just went into position hmm things that make you wonder . We never want to wash our hair or get it wet cause it will change the look right.

Have you ever been moved or feel that someone’s word completed your thought’s or you interpretation of your feeling’s . You say Wow is the Pastor talking to me cause this very topic he is pulling me in This discussion .
I feel naked like every one is looking at me , But in reality they are not the tears are strolling down my face . I feel as if the message was written only for me, my eye’s , my heart , my life . Do you feel that Ever when you leave service .Do you feel happier then when you entered, that you learned these God center goals to make this week more powerful and all Christ centered.

In service I get that and feel that way most of the time . I feel connected to some messages more them others and relate to the topics and try them out with the weeks to come .

My Jesus Lives in me .

Our worship is amazing something else. I love one Amy Evans comes out and sings her solo she makes me cry with how good she is . I am always impressed. We have a creative amazing worship team that comes and shouts it out and the Tears stream down my face. They do songs from one of my favorite artists his name is Chris tomlin I think he is amazing . Especially the song God Of the City and my favorite
Jesus the messiah. Love that song .


Well my pastor was out of town for the weekend , good for them any way I’m glad they always need a break , our pastor is a hard worker and I can not express how it must be to be a pastors wife . I respect and Honor his wife above words. Not only are you working all week but then you have several services to attend to and different functions to attend to , besides being a mama, wife and women of God . It sure is a lot of work I’m certain . But a Blessed job I’m sure , work long hours , yes but it’s for God and man I would only think that if he died on the cross for me then yes I’m honored that my husband is preaching to all the city and I’m blessed that the majority of our city is attending our church that we have 6 services . Man that is amazing and I’m so proud to be apart of this God centered church.

We were all in for a surprise a well known speaker Bob Barnes spoke.

Like the movie Jerry McGuire you had me at Hello .



and he had the whole room ’s attention.

Topic was are you all in or half in ?

He spoke about Jesus and being all in with Jesus having him in your heart and wanting to do and please him and others Including your life.

It was amazing that left you speech less and wanting to hear more .

To give what you receive no matter the cost .

To keep your word and honor if you say I will donate this check to this ministry or this church or what ever the case will be no matter the cost . Do it . Keep your word to God cause he is keeping his word to us by him dying on the cross for us . He honored us . So if you commit to something continue to do it no matter if you are hurting or not give what ever you can and you will receive more in return .

Over all this is a amazing site that helps others out I love that And this very special speaker was amazing as well very moving .

Made me stop and think are you in all the way not a little bit but all the way .

Do you give your all , your best , no Judgment , being honest with your self and God. Do you try to be the best wife , Husband , Mother, Friend Christ centered follower you can be , do you speak truth and try to follow living a full life.

I will be the first to admit, sometimes I’m not giving my all, I could maybe help out more do more with the dishes or laundry or cleaning the house , I try, do not get me wrong but is that enough. I would give my back to help someone else out . I would give my last dollar to someone else if they needed it. That is who I am . As a wife am I all in this marriage Yes I am no question asked . Have we recently have had to move our family into my parents house due to my hubby’s job loss yes , is that a change for us yes . Did I cry and feel like the world was ending , YES I will admit that . The last 7 months have been eye opening God centered and amazing . I asked God to help me deal with the pressures of life , deal with the job loss, deal with the life changing events that were happening . To be a strong wife that I need to be , deal with every thing that seemed different. Not only is today better but God turned a misfortune into a fortune.

He gave my Hubby a job , he is working , he is the provider, He gave me the ability to be a wife , a stay at home mama and gave me the gift of being a photographer .

I bless him I praise him I honor him , He is why I’m here.

He is my Father . My provider, my Love . I look up to him for the answers . So back to the Question am I all in ? yes I am . I am all for my family and above all my God . I’m not perfect , I make mistakes, I mean well with all my heart . I am me and all in .

We watched several movies this weekend : kind of like playing catch up cause parent’s you know this when you have kids well the only TV you seem to watch is play house Disney . I can tell you every verse in Charlie and Lola , handy Manny , imagine nation movers (and that is not a interesting or exciting show at all ) if you have scene the show you will relate to that in the brackets . Or lets see I Carley , wizard of Waverly place Jonas or Hannah Montana.

Any how TV for the adults comes after 8or 9 pm depending what events happen in the evening . You never know . We might go out to dinner, or ice cream or have a function or church bible study or children’s choir never know .


So we caught up on the movie’s , we saw Drum roll please ********

Faith like potatoes - God centered - amazing picture I hope you all run out to see it . I give a 5 ****** review.

Fly wheel - from the maker’s of fire proof and facing the giants another God centered amazing film as well I hope you rent it . Another 5 ***** rating .

Joshua- Another God centered film . Amazing I can’t tell you enough this made me cry and moved me , I saw it twice that is how good it was and then we brought the film . 20 ********************* review wow right so rent it at the local rental .

Benjamin Buttons - it was ok it did not have the all of me into to the movie all the way I fell asleep .

Revolutionary Road - Leonardo Di caprio and kate winslet.- It was not my cup of tea , the course language and the affairs were quite disturbing .
