God Bless the child who suffers !

My heart is heavy for this family once again if you remember the post I did months back . This beautiful couple was not successful in caring a child of there own , they were blessed to adopt a child from Russia, and then recently this year they were all ready to adopt a baby girl to have a sibling for there son , and well last minuet after flying to the location it fell through leaving them baby less and heart broken, well it was a replay this time again where the mother decided to keep the baby and well this story is sadder and more difficult to disgust . so head on over to Adriane blog here .

please pray for the mother who decided to keep her baby , pray for Adriena and Jim and Owen and pray for the strength that God has given them to handle these painful trials .
I am heart broken for this family and the tears are just flowing down my face . I have been following this blog and last I read she was feeding and bonding with the baby and re did the baby's room and was excited once again and then I read this post .I never in a million years thought Jim and I would be walking away from a potential adoption. Over the weekend, we learned that Miss A is still legally married to the man she thought she divorced 4 years ago. He is not Braxton's biological father, but in our state, being married to Miss A gives him rights to Braxton that are very difficult to take away. The biological father is not the man who was served papers prior to the baby's birth so he also has not consented to the adoption. The legal father's mother who has raised Miss A's first child has decided she also wants baby Braxton, and we have been told that although Miss A's husband is in federal prison, he is not going to consent to the adoption. Miss A is having a difficult time deciding what to do in light of this new information. She doesn't want her mother-in-law or her legal husband to have Braxton, and she doesn't believe she will be able to raise him, but it seems very difficult for us to be able to adopt him because of their legal rights to this child. There is so much more to this story and why we feel it is important to walk away now. We have prayed and talked over this for most of the weekend and have decided to protect Owen and our family by walking away from what could be a dangerous situation if we were to continue to pursue adopting Braxton. We are thanking God for giving us peace with this decision.I have decided that because I have never referenced Miss A by name or any identifying information, I will share her story and give more details about this adoption at some point as we believe it is a very moving story in many ways and pray it has a happy ending for her and her family.Thank you for all of your prayers and supportive comments. We specifically would like to ask for you to pray for a baby boy named Braxton who is unable to have any say in what his future will be. We have been given a good look into what his future will likely be and will always pray for his safety and well being. We are also praying for our sweet Owen and our future children and their birth mothers, wherever they may be, and asking God to continue to show us His Will for our lives. With much love and thanks,

It has to be plain hard on this family . please say some prayers.

ALL GOD'S CHILDREN NEED SOME LOVE

Wow. That is just heartbreaking! I will pray.

Thanks for all of your sweet comments! Just wanted to let you know that I'm headed out of town on vacation tomorrow with the fam and some good neighbor friends...we're going to an indoor water park/resort in Wisconsin through Sunday night. Just didn't want you to think I'm M.I.A. the next few days! :) Have a great rest of the week and weekend!
