Leap of Faith

Have you ever taken a leap of faith ?

Have You ever felt brave and wanted to try something different , but are hesitant and have fear beyond words? That was me with Father's day this year .

Let me explain : LAEAP OF FAITH

I'm going away for two weeks with my girl's to visit my sister and family and doing some photo shoot's in G.A. while I'm there. I'm so excited BUT I will be away on the 4Th of July .
My Hubby is BUMMED , he loves to do the fire works with the (mini kits )for the kids and well this year will let my crazy brother in law take over.

No joking he plans for this event 1 year in advance
he buys fireworks in Alabama and prepares for a blow out experience where in the middle you need to depart from the smoke inhalation . But all aside it is a loud blast for the kids. The whole block get’s together and they have a front lawn cook out .


Back to Father’s day So on deciding this Father's day gift idea. I thought I would take a leap of faith and do what my husband has begged and asked of me to do for years . (15) to be exact

Leap of Faith this is where it comes in :

CAMPING ahem "did you hear me say that" , Camping me and my girl's who are 9 and 3 oh my how crazy was that . But what you read and heard was correct .

Being a Army man , 82nd airborne camping is in his blood and well since he is out of the army now he wanted to re- live the good old day’s.

Camping me yikes not sure if I could handle that in the 100 degree weather.

I was looking at different gifts for my husband and thought a family event can take place we can go away and have fun all together since we will be going away for two weeks, Thank God Hubby is working but sad he can not come along .


Rella and I where looking at Tents in Sam’s and then we kept looking around , Well my mother surprised the girls and my Hubby and brought the tent for him for Father's day .

o.k. so I need to commit to this now

Camping yikes is right .


I brought the needed supplies inaddition and took this Leap of Faith.

I then went and had to Tell hubby that my gift is that we all go together as a family camping.

Trust me wehrn I say leap of Faith . I was so scard .


Faith step break out the positive energy and go with the family cause I wanted to be there to see my kids in this new environment .

What I did not aspect is to see family's having to live there cause they lost their homes. That was sad.

we made it out alive . The kids had a ball we were going for two day's ,did I and the family last two day's ? No we sure didn't it was way too hot and we were getting bitten alive from the bugs that live there and well it was fun we sang songs had a gill out made smores and a bonfire we did all the camping adventures , fishing, walking , sightseeing , picture taken , and bonding with
the family .

we saw, bug's . foxes, raccoons , iguanas, lizards huge , birds , huge fish, bikers,

what a fun packed weekend we had. Tired yes indeed, between the heat and the running around the clock activates, including going to service at church the world’s largest strip club , yeah you read that correct it is a new message being delivered by our amazing pastor . Hubby is so glad I and the girls went will I be going back soon?

Not in this weather , maybe when it get’s a bit cooler and we all can stand it .

but for Emmy and Rella I'm shocked and proud of my girl’s this was amazing .


I took a Leap of Faith and I’m glad I did not miss out and was there for my family . I t sure was hot and well with the lack of supplies it was different, and the bugs that bit all of us up and the sleeping hearing animals out there was different and scary .

But we are survivors’ amen .
