THE BIG PICTURE!

Hello every one!

I was planning to write about something else, however, GOD is heavy on my heart about this subject and I need to share with you all.
About a year ago we started attending this church and boy do I enjoy going. Last evening (shocker, we went to Saturday service being that we had plans on Sunday) every minute of the service was inspiring.

We are in the middle of this series called “Greater Things”, my website has my song and please if you have a second (well more then a second) go to my link called my church and pod cast the Greater things service from last night. I know you will be blessed as much as I was.

Our Church is expanding, we are a growing community and every one seems to be listening and wanting to hear about the word of God, thousands are attending our church. I think that is so awesome.
What impresses me so much is that there is a younger crowd coming with groups of friends. By younger crowd I mean like Middle and High School Students.
They are enjoying the service and are there on their free will.
I took a glance at the service crowds last night and was filled with tears. This is so amazing that now, these days, the younger crowd is here and enjoying the word of God. Once again “That’s awesome.”

The past 4 weeks we have had different social events in regards to helping the building fund of our new church, and our Pastor David has express a number amount of times that this is our time, this is a calling to pray and obey.
We are going to do this to work together as a team. Some people feel this is a strange time to ask to pray, obey and to commit; however if not now then when?
Question if you do not give will you receive?
If you give then what?
Well, the answer is “you will be blessed beyond measures”
I am sure that we all think that its never a right time to make a bold move but if you never do it, if you don’t trust, if you don’t believe, then, it will never happen.

This evening the Pastor told this amazing story in reference to giving that had me in tears. To sum it up in a nutshell, this girl (early teens) was saving her funds for a bike and her parents said that they would match the same amount that she had saved (even though they where struggling as it was) so after 6 months they did and she received the bike.
Well, after a day it was gone,
Like all kids, the hype of a new toy something they were working towards and then after it was accomplished they see the fruit of their hard work. A moment that they are proud of; However, That evening this family met this missionary family who was there for one night and they had a early teen son. This one boy was alone, not doing well, was not able to speak the language and having a rough time, well his parents and her parents were looking for something to turn this situation around and to help this boy feel in place.
After hearing this, the girl felt that she wanted to give her bike to this boy and that God was leading her to do this, well her parents did not talk her out of this but asked her to think about the decision and told her that they did not have funds to get another bike.
The parents also told her that it could be a year or so that she would not have a bike, all this girl thought about was that this one boy would be happy and love this bike.
Well, her parents asked her to sleep on it. And she did.
They said that if she really felt that strong and that was what God was leading her to do then it was all right with them. The next day she felt even stronger and gave the boy her bike.
The story gets better, the girl gave herself to God and was blessed, went to a missionary school, all Christian, and later on met this man in the missionary school. It was love at first sight; they fell in love and about to get married. Before the wedding, they were swapping stories, and now you think, oh no! This can be good or bad, well, they found out that this little boy was raised in Latin America and having a rough time when he just arrived there, not understanding the language and what turned things around was that during dinner his parents told him that this one girl in the states gave him a bike.
She though, was this the boy that I gave my bike too.
Ok, iam in tears, no way. You get the story now.
It’s like the movie (JERRY MCGUIRE, YOU HAD ME AT HELLO)
Our God does something so amazing that leaves you speechless.
Later on that evening my husband and I were in the car and it was poring out side and we saw this one dad walking with two babies and they were getting all wet, well, no, drenched is more like it, we had an umbrella with us and since we both are in sync with one another (we are like that) we stopped, not wanting to scare this dad with his babies but just handed him the umbrella and he said bless you but no thanks we already are wet and ok our house is right there, of course we said no please, are you sure?
The dad said “yes, thank, you but we are almost home”
As we rolled up our window, I was happy that we stopped and thankful that I was able to do that.

So I am blessed to have this church, this pastor to lay these stories on my chest, to make me realize that our amazing God works every day and it might not be my story that he was working on but it touched me and makes me a better believer, that he is great and I am blessed beyond measures.

My God has done amazing work lately in my family; I am so blessed.
I know he is great. Like every amazing Father who looks after his children he never seizes to amaze me.
I know that every day is a blessing and there is nothing that I can do that would make me forget that.

I have a friend that is going though a difficult time and has expressed how hard it is on her and she is dealing with some heavy issues that I wish she would not have to deal with, especially at this time.
We are not perfect, remember, there are no perfect people aloud, we need to pray for her pain, pray that this extremely hard week that she can get thought it.
GOD HAS Reasons, SOMETIMES WE MIGHT NOT UNDERSTAND IT AND WE CAN HONESTLY GET MAD AND SAY WHY? WHY NOW? WHY ME?
This big ? Might never be answered, nevertheless, we need to look at what we have at this time, we might have a son or a daughter or both, that will make us feel alive, the fact that we can be with our kids, that our kids are healthy, well, THAT IS A REWARD that God has given us.Remember that he is the one that gives and takes away. At the end we will be in place that there is no fear, no sorrow, no suffering, no pain, a placed that its ours, a place that we can call home and that we will have a protector, the LION, the Shepard, the one that will take care of his flock, US. I PRAY FOR YOU AT THIS TIME GOD BLESS MY FRIEND Iam here if you need anything at all.
