FLOWERS AND A CARD

My Husband and I usually are in sync with one another we finish each others sentences and half the time say what we are thinking before the other one has a chance and ½ of the time its what the other one is thinking you get it. ( VERY RARE THESE DAYS I KNOW)

Well we had errands to do yesterday and while I was going to get the children ready (cause a moms job is never easy) 2 girls, clothes, shoes, hair, diaper bag, change of clothes juice in the SIPPIE cup and need to ask them plus wait for a answer, What movie they want in the sanity player? , Yes I added that, that’s what mom calls it the sanity player, really works wonders to occupy the children.

Lets go back a moment.

I am the one that when someone is down or does something really special I make that stop to the field of flowers and pick out something special and always have the girl at the counter re wrap it all dolled up and pretty. That is just me, I do this because I want to not that someone is telling me “ go spend your money and get this for the special person” also I do not expect anything in return other than a thank you. Ok whom am I kidding sometimes its so deeply touching to get and receive Recognition .


Well from time to time it would be really sweet to have that done in return from my one and only. (Sounds like Darla from the little rascals) My “Alfalfanator “.

Right ladies, being that I was running around the house like a chicken with no head a thought would be great especially since he went to stop for gas and was by the flower shop. I love a gesture like that and I ‘am the girl the sucker for a card from my hubby Every now and then.


Affirmation

So I thought! Well my Hubby came back and with no flowers, no card I was sure hoping that was THE reason why he was running late not that he was cleaning the car up and then was outside making sure the TV was all hooked and connected. Do not get me wrong here these are all important issues, we need the car ready that was a big help, we need gas to move the car another big help but I wanted the card, the flowers. That something.

Affirmation

Well when we entered the car I said “ Did you go by this location ***** he said “ yes. I replied “ oh.

Ten minuets after in the car he said we were running around, I was late already to start the day, I did not go in and buy you flowers. See we are in sync with one another I laughed and said no-no that’s all right sure.
Who am I kidding I was crushed! Later on he kept bringing it up over and over “ IAM SO SORRY “.

After we tucked the children in bed and I watched my Sunday Hot TV shows I wanted to finish my post that I was working on earlier. My Husband was watching football and getting paper work ready for the morning. H e said, “I almost forgot I need to stop for gas”.

I was in my pajamas, had the candle lit in the kitchen the aroma of lavender was in the air. The children were a sleep in their beds my music playing softly I had the whole ambience going. I was not thinking of the flowers at all any more.
Besides we had an awesome family day I could not complain.

When he came home he had a bundle of flowers and the card. He replied “this was heavy on my heart all day long and God told me I needed to do this for my lovely awesome beautiful wife, H e led me to the store”. My post my story but the God part was true!

I of course if you know me was in tears, “ He said “ do not cry either.”

LOL that is the silliest thing I heard of all day!

Still laughing, still loving… It just keeps getting better! The kissing the hugging… a love that last forever! When I opened the card what a surprise it sings I like it I LOVE it I want some more of it. Lol cute. And says here’s to another great year together.

So there was my Affirmation! The gesture was every thing. At this point unexpected and moving. Thanks honey it was an end of a great day!
