Iguana Ville



This is so ridiculous what has been happening at our house in south Florida with the IGUANAS . Ok we had some freezing weather a couple of weeks ago { shocker I know } and in result the Iguanas here were freezing and falling out of the tree’s. Actually they were still alive and breathing but just out of it, they were frozen and sleeping /breathing and apparently they need a hot lamp to keep them alive , this is what I was informed .



so this past weekend all the kids around our block were playing and us mom’s were chatting , fun right until the kid’s found this Iguana on the ground, It was Huge I tell you .

They creep me out in every way with that being said nevertheless

It was literally life or death for him. we were under freezing temp’s and the weather was expected to get colder by night , a cold spell in fla ,you all in the tundra are cracking up, one of the neighbor’s called the local animal hospital and asked for the humane department and asked what to do with this half dead IGNANA ?

They said we can bring it over to them it is happening a lot and they are taking care of them ,unless we wanted a new pet and wanted to get a heat lamp from Wal-Mart or target, umm no , no thanks not happening I WAS SO QUICK TO SAY Take it to the hospital , so I watched the little ones mine and my neighbors daughter which so happens to be Emmy’s friend and my neighbor who will call Mary Jane went on a rescue mission with all the kids from around our block and ran the frozen sleeping Iguana over to the clinic where he would get the attention he needed. That was day one,

Day two , In the morning walked outside to go throw some garbage in the trash can and guess what ? Another Iguana was on my lawn , this one was a baby , same issue ,

now three day’s have past and well this was Friday afternoon and my husband and I were on out patio and well guess what ? You guessed it we were outside and my husband kissed me out of the blue while handing me a coke a cola and we were playing with Emmy all of a sudden out of the corner of my eye I saw a flying Iguana ok it was not flying with wings it was falling from a huge tree and well actually it looked like it was flying Guess you had to be there , leaping lizards is right, this time it was dead
( drt ) dead right there, poor Iguana it had such a fall the tree’s on my property are huge and tall you fall you are dead ok . Enough said that I have just about had it with the Iguanas around here , enough is enough , now when I leave my house I’m always looking to see if there are any flying/ falling Iguanas .
